Introduction

The Story
Long ago, the world was known as Aeden, a land where human, elf, dwarf, fairy, pixie, and others lived and loved together. The beings of Aeden thrived off of the love between them, love which grew to such strength as to become magic, and a source of magic, for all. As love for each other grew, so grew the power of the sustaining magic, leading to a land free of sickness, free of death, free of want or tragedy.

Some learned to delve more deeply in to the magic of their world, learning to shape and control the mystical power which came to be known as Eros. Of course, as the power of the Eros grew, some became suspicious, even jealous, of the power they came to wield. Even as the Eros sought to reassure the concerns of these people, showing them that power born of love could only lead to greater love, there were those who sought to limit the bounds of their power.

Eventually, the sect of Prudens formed as the antithesis of the Eros, and they quickly learned that the most effective way to battle the Eros was not to fight them, but to sow the seeds of suspicion, jealousy, and secrecy among the beings of Aeden.

Over time, and through the subtle whispers of dissension, more and more came to believe that the Prudens were the voice of reason in the land. More and more came to follow the doctrine of Moralis, believing that the public showing of love was "wrong" or even "impure". They eventually came to believe that the Eros and their magic were nothing more than debauched savages, not fit for civilized society. As the Prudens came to more and more power among the people, they labeled the Eros with a new name - "Pornos," and forced them into hiding, slavery, or worse.

This was the dawn of a new age - dark to the Eros, yet Golden to the Prudens. The power of love was subjugated, demonized, and effectively killed. Fear and secrecy were the order of the day. Those who held to the beliefs of Eros were locked away, labeled as Pornos - unacceptable for the society of Moralis.

After a thousand years of slavery, a pair of heroes came to lead the Eros to freedom. A great war was fought, leading to death and destruction on both sides. After countless years of war, a stalemate was reached. The formerly unified beings of Aeden were fragmented. Each went to their own land, bordered by secrecy and mistrust. The Prudens continue their quest for the ultimate law of Moralis, while the Eros seek to re-establish the ancient magic born of Love. The magic inherent within each individual, yet expressed only through unification. The Natural Powers born of Passion.
